Taking a small step back to have a look at near term timelines other than intraday.

Since the patent announcement on the 6th, this has closed at either 35c or 36c. The only other close in this timeframe was 37c last Wednesday.
Would have been no surprise to see this at 30c to complete a full 50% retrace, so perhaps the announcement has been priced in at 5-6c share currently (if it holds around here.)
Declining volumes as selling pressure begins to wane.
Buy orders SIGNIFICANTLY outnumber sell orders on the first 5-10 lines.
It may still get worse but as an outsider i feel there is at least the prospect of further stabilisation rather than another sustained fall.

It looks like intermediate trial announcements may not necessarily put a rocket under this but announcing strategic deals with big players undoubtedly will and this has been foreshadowed.
Perhaps further consolidation here before then before we start that next bull run.
