Don't knock yourself over this sudden fall in sp @Outlander2, you are not the only one that felt something/anything may be announced shortly bolstering the sp and the hopes of shareholders.
Even the Chartists were making cooing noises about something may just pop over the prevailing month, sadly this did not come about and it is clear the another reset is in play.
If you are not in need of the funds it shouldn't make one bit of difference, however unfortunately when you least expect these things it can have a knock on effect.
I recently purchased a new vehicle and had it all planned to sell some other shares, unfortunately the market has taken a turn in my whole portfolio and this has caused some pain, now selling some shares at a loss, where they were well in the black just a week ago.
First world problems anyway, still have health and a wonderful family so life goes on.
