my guess is

1. instos need more visability and clarity over the expected economics of the project.
2. perhaps also want commitment from offtake partners to prove out who their customers will be. industry dominated by China and lack of ex China processing capability
3. poor global macro environment and also REE macro conditions for REEs not great (nd pr low prices though recently rising)
4. maybe want more clarity on LINs longer term strategy - what is the downstream ambition and how much capex will be required.. or does LIN plan to be a mon concentrate producer only forever?

easy to play share price games when volumes are low and lack of buyers. agree trading patterns are odd pre announcements and does suggest insiders trading which is frustrating. not great for reputation of the share price, but this is common in small caps on the ASX so what can you do
