Well done on mentioning the "May Corporate Update". I think yours is the first mention of it here.
They generally release one every couple of months, and they are worth having a look at. I always like to compare them to the previous one to see if they have added anything new.
Three points I noted from this one ... IMO the last one is a DOOZY:
1] The chart of target share price from various analysts - I dont dont know what GMP have been smoking with their C$.60 cents!!! ....[already mentioned by Toph]
2] We know they completed 13 holes to target the best & shallowest high grade zones for the startup pit. Well they have a nice graphic on page 14 showing the pit stages ... worth a look!
3] Thirdly, page 7. We know that Clive Jones owns the other 20% of the BMR (Bannerman Mining Res). Well they have released something I have never seen before, & was not aware of until now. They bring out TWO points:
a] They say he is "Free carried to completion of bankable feasibility study, thereafter holder must contribute or automatic staged dilution to 2% royalty" Previously not much said about this ... now we know the choice Clive James faces ... stump up $millions or dilute his 20% down to a "royalty" only.
b] Also, they state TWO WORDS here between BMN & BMR: "Pre-emptive right" ... So for the first time we now know that BMN have "pre-emptive", or FIRST rights to the 20%. So that means Clive Jones has to give BMN first option if he wishes to sell!
Now I am into reading between the lines, and as this is a "corporate" update, I daresay they are letting everyone know that its "hands-off" ... we have first rights!! Makes me wonder how many approaches Clive James has already had!!
Finally we cant finish without quoting the last page, which I used as the subject header:
Why Invest in Bannerman?
*Clearly defined development pathway.
*Low sovereign and technical risk.
*Strategically significant & growing U3O8 metal inventory.
*Change in management delivering results – turnaround gaining momentum.
*Relatively undervalued in comparison to peers.
*Corporate activity in industry sector and particularly Namibia
Certainly puts a smile on the dial!!
