The US is not under threat here they are to far away.Maybe a suicide bomber with a nuclear device strapped to him but thats about it. Europe and Israel are the ones who are threatened at this stage i think you might find the EU taking action led by germany against Iran.
German Chancellor Compares Iran to the Nazis Sunday, February 5, 2006
The German Chancellor Angela Merkel compared President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran to Adolph Hitler on February 4th.
“Looking back to German history in the early 1930s when National Socialism was on the rise, there were many outside Germany who said, ‘It’s only rhetoric - don’t get excited’,” Merkel told an international security conference in Munich. As Iran vows to restart the enrichment of uranium to produce nuclear weapons, the Chancellor offered a stark warning to the country.
“Iran has blatantly crossed the red line,” she said. “I say it as a German chancellor. A president who questions Israel’s right to exist, a president who denies the Holocaust cannot expect to receive any tolerance from Germany.”
Chancellor Merkel was recently in Israel, over the weekend of the 27th of January, the first Western leader to be hosted by the Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Her trip - carried out so early on in her mandate - was widely seen as a step towards creating an even stronger German-Israeli relationship.
