This point surprised me the most over the past few years as well. What's the point of having deep pockets and long term horizon if you don't snap up bargains like AWC when they are on the ropes.

I would have jumped for joy if a takeover occurred 1 or 2 years ago, but then I would be missing out on the returns we are finally seeing.
