My point is that the flu shot was pushed on to me as 'free' and 'it'll lower your chances of catching the flu this year'.
Now a major study has found that last year's flu jab increased your chances of catching the flu.... by 26.9%.
I would have thought that CSL shareholders might find that information interesting and possibly relevant.
I'm not a CSL shareholder but I had two immediate thoughts:
1) If I had lined up for a flu shot, and before getting jabbed the nurse informed me that the shot would increase my chances of getting the flu this season, there's no way I would have gone ahead with it. And I doubt I'd be alone in that.
2) If some adverse effects of the flu shot are only now beginning to emerge, what else might be revealed in the years ahead?
The chart is waving a big red flag. That's why my sentiment is 'sell'.
