IMO the recent SP movement has nothing to do with the Canadian acquisition. On the chart below, the green line is the gold index XGD.XAU the OHLC chart is EVN our SP has taken a hit with the lower price of gold like other gold miners have.
btw lower price of gold when markets have jitters over higher interest rates makes no sense to me.
