Could be just an attempt to drop the price so you can buy in at a cheaper price, because someone was silly enough to believe your 'spin'.
Reminds me of the dirty tricks brigade who inhabited EGO earlier this year. Once the profits started mounting in any stock, as they are in GGP, all sorts of strange types seem to come crawling out from under all types of rocks, in my personal experience.

Never been in CCC - once I saw someone called 5harelholder ramping it up, I knew to stay well clear, as he was doing the same on EGO at that time. As it was, the arse fell out of CCC in a big way not too much later....and never recovered.
Anyway, we long term investors in GGP (as opposed to DTs and short term traders) who got in early, are not worried ........because we are already sat on a healthy profit, in most cases. What we want (well, what I want) is an SSN type of profit as they that stock rose like the proverbial Saturn 5 rocket in 2010 and early 2011.
GGP has the same type of potential, or better, imo.
