Quota's sound like the start of a trade war. One small country representing about 1% of the global economy set to constrain the supply of an essential industrial ingredient to the rest of the world?
Can only end in tears imho, Australia is no OPEC, doesn't even have the clout of Russia. Get real, or make the global enemies and bear the consequences for generations to come. FMG's operation should at least survive. Are a couple of other smaller cap companies really worth that long term pain to Australia?
