Aged care is simply a choice to leave your home and go into a different facility. Why the hell is government supporting that and if so why are elderly choosing to stay in their own homes not receive some funds at least to save taxpayers money??

If its funding based on choice why do I not get a subsidy for choosing to eat at McDonalds or a local cafe instead of eating at home??

The question must be asked, why are elderly in aged care treated as elite compared to others who choose not to go into aged care because they indirectly receive subsidies, or their operators do, that others do not or choose not to make that decision??

Through subsidises why is government promoting central control via the facility operation??
