"We used to have governments that controlled corporations but now we have corporations that control governments"
Tell us when that might of been. Because that does not ring true. The globalisation of trade etc has seen the development of ever large Corporations. The emergence of the technology age has seen the emergence of the mega rich corporation. And these companies pay huge amounts of tax in all sorts of jurisdictions although it has to be said they pay as least as they can wherever they can. We have globalised companies but we do not have Global Government. So in an evolutionary sense we are not where we need to be yet. I do not want ANY Government especially on a micro basis ie country by country controlling our corporations. Governments need to be the servants of the people and CORPORATIONS.
I am not sure what you base your philosophy on ...you tend to send mixed messages. But please provide the information that provides evidence of when Govt's controlled business. 50 years ago we had much smaller Government and Corporations were smaller also. Just remember to increase the size of Government and the PS you have to have wealth creation. The fact that CB's have printed a virtual truck load of money in the past 25 years is also a factor there are others. Please explain Mogga?
