There is no shortage of skilled workers in Australia.
It is False.
And has been used for Years to artificially prop up our Housing Market, (the Great Australian Housing Ponzi Scheme)
And Construction Industry.
People who are not born here,
have not paid enough in taxes to support the infrastructure they use.
Our Roads, Schools, Hospitals, Public Transport, Housing Etc,
Already Cannot Cope.
Why would making it worse with more people
who haven't paid a cent to use any of these services yet, Help?
Also their "skills" are not to our standards,
And are often Fake.
Most of these Imported mechanics don't know anything.
They plug a scan tool in and read what it sais.
They might be able to change a sensor if they look up how to do it,
If they are lucky.
Most would not know how to rebuild an engine,
Or even be capable of removing and refitting one.
Many run questionable businesses such as "massage" parlours,
And get a lot of un-declared cash in hand work.
Some other businesses like Bakeries etc. Do cash only and are not paying correct Tax.
Many are only here to buy a House in their name that is really funded by someone else,
How could a Student have saved $1 000 000 for a House when they haven't worked yet?
The whole Migrants thing is something cheap business owners want,
Who don't pay Minimum Wage.
How many Uber / Diddy / Pizza Shop / Car Wash / "Masseuse" / Car Wash Attendant / Nail Technicians, Etc. Are Migrants?
Is that "Skilled Work"?
Should we send them back and get a replacement that actually is skilled?
Personally these so called "doctors" with "degrees" from overseas have been proven time and time again to not be up to standard.
Different Countries have different values on human life.
Really often the documents are Fake.
There is not one profession that has a skill shortage at all.
It's all Bull$#it to get more slave Labour,
So the Clown that owns the Coffee shop for example, that no-one really needs,
Can make his 10 000% profit a Cup of Coffee,
As he Cries Poor the Loudest.
It is not genuine,
It's just Greed....
