abib you are not telling the truth 1. USSR supported the people with the oil from the early fifties. Arabs had the latest Russian gear. Israel had mirages and second hand English tanks 2. We have been through this before Egypt, Syria, Jordan and other Arab Armies surrounded Israel in 1967 (including kicking out the UN peace force and putting its army in the Sinai against its written agreement for getting the Sinai back ) and blocked their Sea supply routes and waited for Israel to weaken while telling all the media that they were going to anhilate Israel. This is an act of war, Israel was in its rights to come out firing before it ran out of fuel that was being blocked off. Check your history and stop telling blatant lies
