IMO if you go back through time, (Charts are good for this)
I think you will see this happens around the time the market is expecting news,
It could also be someone/thing trying to trigger stop's to bring liquidity into the share.

The hc thread has lots of info from posters read all the posts and take it in, not just the ones you like or want to hear.

I think you will find even the ones you don't like,still have a positive ring to them just different time frames.
