You may be right. Maybe there were some CQT shares involved. But then again, there may not have been.
So this is pure speculation.
It should be made 100% illegal for the lender of funds to clients using shares as equity to onlend those shares to anyone.
It is a direct conflict of interest and detrimental to the investor who borrowed funds based on the value of their shares.
