Undoubtably there is an element of cronyism in SA (as there is everywhere).

However isnt the BEE all about distributing the wealth?

I think PJ is focusing on building an irrestible business case, through a large reserve, one which will make all interested parties take notice.

Then he can go to ESKOM (or the potentially new IPP's) with a business case rather than hope...

He will get an ear to listen to only after he is able to supply someones billion dollar or so investment in a coal power plant for 40 or so years.

We will get dribs over the next few months and then in 6 months we will get the results from the 98 holes.
