I'm not too cluey, but this is the way I read it..
66c/share was the annual dividend announced... + franking credit i.e. total of 94.2857c/share
they paid 50c (+ franking cr), so expected final dividend is 16c+frranking credit
on my bell direct account, earnings /share are shown as $1.059 - IE 10c / share more than they are currently paying as dividend
do they really have that much extra fat to pay 9 out those 10c out as extra dividends ?
or is the earning per share I'm looking at way off
Please excuse my ignorance....
