Yeah I agree, he does have a very good track record. Bought Cape Lam for 20m, spent 50 and sold it for 400 (assuming the 80m comes through). However, the question still remains, he bought 65% of Marampa from Timmis(?) for 31m in equity. Now he is promoting it as being worth 500m. I would like to know why the large discrepancy. Timmis is no mug.

Obviously it is very difficult for me to value a project like this, not having the expertise. But what was paid for the asset, and what similar projects have sold for should still form the basis of a valuation.

Can anyone explain the discrepancy between the valuations of Marampa and Mayoko?
