I think he will survive that come the next election.. the kryptonite, which is starting to get a little more traction, is the dire position of the public health system (emergency departments, mental health support facilities etc).. he's had years of record budget surpluses to fix it all, including getting the state ready to deal with Covid once the borders are relaxed - but nothing has been done.. we still wouldn't be able to deal with a major outbreak now, which I'm sure is part of the reason for his strong border stance
he talks about new doctors and nurses being imported (including from overseas), but they are paltry numbers and don't address the problem

Nailed it. Shuts us up for two years to fix the health system and ir still gets overrun?
