Perhaps Taxed simply focussed on Kitty's last line ("may hit $11.50 today"), which was a brave prediction, but in some way could be taken as a temporary plus (e.g. for someone who is averaging down), especially since Kitty is otherwise broadly positive.
Forgive me for hoping that prediction doesn't come true. I just had a quick look at graphs of SP movements for NST, SAR, NCM, EVN, VMC, DEG, RSG & KLA. I don't think you could claim any of them has followed the PoG over the last four weeks; they've all come down from highs in Jan, but that's about the only take-away. KLA and RSG both have a significant proportion of their operations outside Aust, with RSG carrying more sovereign risk than all those others.
I think one can conclude that they're all over the place really, and the only graph that looks like NST's is SAR's. I can't average down, having bought in too far back, but I'm inclined to accumulate in this environment.
