The key word you use is "trust".

Without having the benefit of full transparency into a company's strategic direction (which TB for obvious reasons can never offer shareholders), trust is all we can have. You either got it or you haven't. Personally, he's done enough to convince me that he knows what he's doing over the long term. Your comments about recent mergers supports this (thanks for the insightful and original thinking by the way).
