The key Q is whether CCP 50% fall in SP is a direct correlation to S&P 500s fall of 23%?
IMO, NO. Why? Falls are not directly linked in any way. CCP fall-as you point out-is more than 2 x S&P fall.
As I stated openly on HC, IMO there are 3 plausible explanations:
1. AFCA investigations (see AFCA website); and,
2. CCP SP going up was manipulated by Broker(s)*; and,
3. CCP SP going down was not manipulated.
* See Daily Trades for this period: e.g. large SP upward movements on extremely tin volumes-1, 2,5,10 etc shares.
Above are some reasons. There may well be others???
