The idea that the health of a poverty stock operating in Australasia, and a small part of the USA, is going to be hurt because of a Peking lockdown smacks of the butterfly effect in chaos theory that suggests that the flap of a butterfly’s wings in Brazil set off a tornado in Texas. How likely would Warren Buffet support that as an investment consideration?
Covid-19 is, IMO, likely to be seen as the one of the catalysts that is going to catapult CCP from being a minnow in the USA debt-buying sector to becoming one of the top-10 in the game within a few years. A negative economic impact in the USA is more likely to create more charged-off debt to come to market at good prices, and an increase of potential people suitable to staff collections centres there. In Australasia, CCP is so dominant that it is difficult to grow at the pace that the USA operation can grow, but CCP will grow at the expense of CCP, CLH and others who have allowed easy pickings to distract them from good management.
PS for usc75, where is the evidence of ASIC or AFCA going after CCP that you often mentioned, and of which I have repeatedly asked you to supply evidence (links to your information source)? Were you lying, or merely confused by the acronym CCP? CCP can mean Chinese Communist Party, and other things, no doubt. In respect to Westpac and AFCA, CCP usually means either Consumer Credit Protection (insurance), or in respect to derivatives and securities financing, “central counterparty”. Further, some of your posts were removed, but because I cannot now view them, I am not 100% sure what you posted, but I seem to recall that you named one or two CCP directors as being involved in criminal activity. Could you comment on that?
PPS – I wonder if the two readers who gave usc75 the two thumbs up for "like", and wait for it . . . . two thumbs up for “great analysis” could please explain why. The post was vacuous.
PPPS for readers generally – in respect to the questions that I asked, don't wait for answers – silence will reign.
