Yes, I personally don't like any of the ROE ratios etc etc, they are a double edged sword to me. But one thing I know for sure is all these boards like CBA will be sitting down doing the sneaky talks on how to offload troubled debts and make there balance sheet's look good. A mate from one of the banks said the other day that there is a lot of opportunity at the moment to make money but the risk management team at the bank is not freeing money to be loaned. The banks still have a freeze on payments, pretty sure CBA did 2 x 3 month stops to those who require them. The Second lot of freezes will start soon so the banks will know coming into July who will be in serious for announcement in the September quarter.
