It may not score high up for a ESG manager, but calling CCP immoral is a stretch. In fact, its a simplistic and ignorant point of view. Think about this, what would happen to society if banks only made loans to businesses and individuals they were certain would pay it back? What impact on the economy and people's ability to purchase shelter would that have? By providing a service to banks to exit bad loans and move on, it means banks can and do take some risk with lending which is healthy for the economy. Alternatively, if banks did all the collection in house you'd just be on one of the big 4 threads saying the same stuff, nasty banks blah blah because you're ignorant.
