We who hold CCP are well aware that the SP goes up and down, with the trendline increasing for a decade. Using an emotional verb noun like “tanking”, does not alter the facts, or inform us of something about which we are unaware. Give us some facts or opinion worth considering.
The last time that I bought on the open market was in December 2019 at $17.80, although I did not have the funds to buy much. I bought again via a capital-raising share offer at $22.04 in March 2019, and I was annoyed at getting so few.
CCP is my best performing investment. My total purchases/sales are (4951*$9.69) +(49*$9.68) +(6000*$9.55) +(2000*$9.57) +(1200*$9.46) +(2500*$9.95) +(1100*$10) -(4000*$12) +(65*$17.8)+ (270*22.04). The sale of 4000 shares was because my SMSF was mandated to pay me some pension, so I sold shares to do that, and I hoped to buy back later, but the SP increased too quickly for me to do that at a price roughly equal to $12.
