I think PLS is going down in price because every other day a new significant lithium deposit is being uncovered.
Ultimately, with known and viable deposits now popping up everywhere, there's no reason for the big players to jump on an asset prematurely (and at top dollar) and have it developed, especially if they're placating market demand with their current assets and current asset ramp ups (if this wasn't true then the spot price would be rising, not falling as it has for the last six months).
Very likely the lithium sector will now become a game of attrition. Well, it officially started becoming a game of attrition six months ago.
