Result were very sound and in my opinion support a SP in excess of $1.00 in this environment. Op cashflow was a highlight and I am looking forward to my dividend.
The catalyst for big gains will be success in landing a major contract in the $100m to $500m category. I believe ASG management have a well articulated strategy in using consulting as a spearhead to land a whale (I have worked in Canberra and this is the way it is done).
The share price has surprised me. However, the Fin Review has reported today that S&P didn't publicly announce the ASX300 rebalance (only their clients got the info).
ASG has been dropped from the ASX 300 and this is significant. A lot of institutions simply can't hold stocks outside of this index and hence this might explain recent weakness.
Beyond the short term this will settle down but I am pleased to have a plausible explanation.
