I don't think I could answer 'why Huon and not me'.. but... Twiggy Forrest is schooled as a marine biologist - his education background has little to do with iron ore. He has also recently acquired significant licenses for seafood production - can't recall all the deatils, but oysters in Albany WA. I remember there was a show on ABC at the time decrying the little oyster guys who were fearful that the huge development Twiggy is embarking on would probably push them out.

Twiggy Forrest believes that the oceans are being pillaged by fisherman, and that aquaculture is part of the solution. He is also a miner at heart, and knows how to do 'counter cyclical' investing by picking the bottom and leveraging on the way up. He also probably has a lot more networks / analysts than any of us, and so an investment in Tasmanian salmon is at least a tick of confidence for our market assessment.

All good news to me. Though.. probably should have gone long Tassals / short Huon
