Yep , I do the same , pay it off by the end of the month AND I work in unison with my wife .She has an end of month date and mine is mid month so if a bill is due just into either time frame we use that which gives us an extra month to pay. ( result..nearly 2 months)That way we can carry more debt even though we pay each one off on due date.
We use the CBA mastercards...get cheaper home insurance paid direct monthly , free overseas travel insurance providing a good portion of the main travel was paid for on mastercard , and a free extension of the guarantee on goods bought on the mastercard .Yep and netbank points which we can use at flight centre for travel....
I guess in my case they make money from the merchants by me using their cards....
