Last night, 8 million SSN shares traded on the Amex for an average price of around $4.50. That's $36,000,000 of value.
This morning, so far, we have under 10,000,000 shares traded for a value of about $2 million AU.
As the exchange rates are the same, why do the Americans trade a greater value than us Aussies? Are the ADR shares limited to a seperate pool, and if so, does this mean the Amex trade is basically turning itself over multiple times? Is this significant when considering the sustainability of the rally?
