I have to agree great post @TheFresh from being involved in process line control and machine automation and smart lighting control, the tech that is on our doorstep is far past the comprehension of the average day today person especially in industry and manufacturing also in large scale distribution of common goods from my perspective and IMHO if our great ( Board/Company ) stay on the path we are heading down the future is looking very good for investors and the common consumer be it from groceries through to white goods, and beyond the options are endless to go to the extent as I am involved in a lot hazardous location works and the possibility of where this tech will go as in control and communication being  ( wireless ) and no cabling is involved is a big benefit to companies and consumers the like!
