Addressing the shortcomings of the current Federal government by pointing out the shortcomings of the opposition is somewhat missing the point.
I don't think anyone can honestly say the Morrison government has shown competence and leadership during the bushfire crisis, and there are other areas where competence is also lacking. Pointing this out doesn't make me a Labor supporter (I am not), and in fact I think most current Australian politicians are bumbling, arrogant fools, but the country needs leadership and efficient competence at this point.
