Why is the market turning on RRL?, page-17

Here's my two bob's worth:

Mkt Cap before flooding: $1.5 billion ( $3 SP)
Mkt Cap today..................$900 mil $1.75)
Loss..................................$600 mil or 40%

Impairment.................say $280 mil (top of estimate)

All other things being equal,this would indicate that the share price has dropped too much.

But of course all things are not equal:

Current COP $1010/oz with 2 of the three mines being unprofitable.
How long will these COPs remain high?
IMO, for the remainder of this calendar year.

And of course the dividend will not likely be paid either.

So, from here:
June qtr: 65,745 ozs (annualised 261,980 ozs
Margin say $300/oz + = $78 mil
or 15.6c eps
That should give us a share price range from $1.56 (p/e 10) to $2.34 (p/e 15)
Take your pick (all IMO of course)
