they are the makers of the mPos machine - the one used by BNZ. so they are a manufacturer (or contract it out). I work in the industry so am an interested observer. they can't integrate any terminal into their system. a terminal has to be vetted by an acquirer (mint is not an acquirer in Australia) but I won't get too technical in you as you don't have a deep understanding of the space. I don't know the rules in Singapore so it maybe different.
