SA and Australia produces about 50% of the world's manganese.

Most of SA's manganese is in the Kalahari and that's where Jupiter is in. Even if China refuses to buy from Australian owned companies now, with 70% of the global reserves in the Kalahari, it's just a matter of time before they come knocking after their own reserves run out. Besides, even though China accounts for 50% of the world steel production, the other 50% will buy from us if China bids up the manganese prices from other producers. Sooner or later our manganese will be competitive, just like what China did to coal.
