I suspect what we are seeing is actually accumulation by much larger players. But who knows, gold does not seem to be the 'magic hedge' it's hailed to be....but give it some time, and I suspect it will be. Some of these goldies are literally printing cash, and cash is king in a tanking economy, spiraling interest rates and hot inflation. Central banks really have painted themselves into the corner IMO.
