I have not had time to read the whole thread, but I have spent some time in Japan over the last few years. I have to say what an eye opener, they are awesome people and an awesome culture. Also I spent 2 weeks in a factory, where the respect and humbleness from all levels of management to the cleaners was like they were equal, but not if you know what I mean.
It was like visiting another planet, and the food is something else.
Again awesome and awesome people, it does not surprise me one bit that there is no looting.
