I don't trade, I leave that for the smart traders.. I buy to keep for dividends and reinvest my dividend and compound...the lower the price the higher the ratio to price/dividend...time and compounding is on my side.
Yes the market can tank another 40% and I don't care I buy more with what I got....lot of stocks I want to get at 40% lower.
I may cash out in 30 years time but until that day market movement matters little to me and I don't care about out performing the market or under performing or beta or grammar or whatever buzz word people use
all I care is protection of capital, margin of safety and adequate return and with that philosophy always outperform the market.
Yes I do occasional sell out when certain stock hit dizzy height but that is about it..
