In the past, unfortunately, this sort of sell down before a due announcement has preceded a bad ann and a continuing sp slide, so it would seem those selling know something we are yet to be told.

But as a poster was saying yesterday, I'm reaching exhaustion with KAR. It's just too hard to predict and far too volatile for those of us who didn't get in in the 2s and 3s. It's by far my most frustrating holding - and my biggest. I picked up some more this morning at 8, as I did yesterday at 8.50, after the ann. And now this. I don't think I've experienced a more manipulated stock. We're bottom feeders, picking up the scraps after the big end of town have made their move.

Still, I hold. I can't believe with its fundamentals that KAR won't deliver on its potential - eventually. But it sure ain't no overnight sensation. It's a drama with ten acts.
