i dont hold CTP shares - used to till mid 2010 (for a good 2 years) - but sold out after repeated messes by the management. Any amount of suuposedly good news (with millions, billions and trillions mentioned) doesnt sway me enough anymore to ever put anything more on CTP.
BUT - today has been an exceptional day for this stock. A 15% JUMP is NOT really a market moving event for CTP - it has seen that numerous times followed by an equal fall over the next few days. BUT today still remains special simply because of the VOLUMES - this is no retail trader like volumes - 23 million. Thats a HUGE volume for any retail group of investors who are probably already over invested in CTP.
Judging by the volumes i must say there probably is some fire behind this smoke. And it seems "yet again" that there has been a news leak - we will know monday.
