    Victorian Supreme Court documents reveal National Australia Bank (NAB) lent drug trafficker Tony Mokbel millions of dollars to build a $A15m property portfolio. NAB began lending money to Mokbel in 1996 when he was a pizza shop owner with just $A128,000 in assets. By the time he was arrested in August 2001, over a $A2bn plan to import chemicals, he owed NAB $A7m. Correspondence shows a NAB bank manager vouched for Mokbel's "integrity" in the months before his arrest
