the coal is very low rank, slightly lower rank than AFR by 14%
the first seam appears to be only 2.22 metres average thickness at 90 metres average depth
the best seam appears to be 15.78 metres thick but from average depth of 138 metres
no railway close by (apart from the planned railway which has been planned forever)
Botswana does not really need the coal and South Africa (Eskom) pays little for it
looks too uneconomic to export, imo
at this time it looks pretty much unmineable & worthless
even if their was a railway nearby the economics would probably still be very poor given it is so deep
was a good trade today
i missed the open and then missed the mid-day low by a fraction, hoping for more of the 2.6 cent placement shares to be sold
but stocks like this are for Timbo & the boys, who run rings around us average clods
shares in NMR are just "fun tickets"
