in fact, i committed the Hot Copper sin by buying into HDG based on your posts (rather than doing my own research)
prompted by the NMR announcement, i actually spent yesterday running the ruler over HDG
the HDG deposit #2 is looking OK, with genuinely relatively shallow coal
but the HDG deposit #1 that came with the JORC - the JORCed section is definitely deep
but luckily HDG have obtained three good visual results from holes drilled in the south east section of deposit #1 which are the shallow parts of the deposit (see April presentation for deposit depth, JORCd area, etc)
HDG are focused on this area, having drilled many holes to date (but results are delayed)
but for this low grade junk i think depth is important
