Westgold is not making cash. Wayne claims to have made cash but ore stocks are down, GIC is down. The only thing that has gone up is unpaid bills to suppliers from $79M 2023 to $149M 2024 ie an increase of $69M. That is the $71M cash flow. That is in spite of the gold price being through the roof. The drop in the AISC appears to be capital that should have been spent in the past being classified as growth capital.

you are missing the $149M in outstanding payables, up $69M from last year! A gold producer profiting $9M in the current climate? that's something worth shorting on...

You are not missing anything. The combined assets of these two companies is the making of one of the best unhedged gold producers in Australia. The 400 thousand Oz per year is definitely on the low end capabilities of Westgold. Once old KRR shareholders are paid out at today's Westgold prices expect shareholders to purchase Westgold shares in the future. With the price of gold and the new drills turning in Beta Hunt I expect good news for shareholders in the near future also. With the new figures due in October and drill results the markets have to react. KRR and Westgold were both heavily shorted and I don't understand why either. Best of luck.
