I apologise for revisiting this topic, but today I read these comments from a reader on Piers blog, and summarises the answer anyone is seeking. Such great and wise words

"The Left love to say Tony Abbott is so unpopular ..

For example, propagandist Bruce Hawker said on the radio recently that Labor has a weapon - the unpopularity of Tony Abbott.

Is he so unpopular?

Or is it that the Left “media” have made sure Australians don’t know him .. don’t see who he really is?

He is continually presented in a negative light.

Were he presented fairly, honestly .. where would his popularity be?

His unpopularity is largely due to a wall of lies between who he really is and the eyes of Australians.

It is amazing he is polling as he is given the smothering of the truth by the Left “media”.

This rare man is out there teaching aboriginal children .. or fighting bush fires ..

When Gillard is supposedly knitting .. now in Mr Magoo glasses ..

Hawker says Tony Abbott is so unpopular ..

Hawker, McTernan and fellow professional liars (1600 of them) created this ..

They create this and then use this ..

They lie and lie and then, when trusting Australians absorb the lies, manipulate accordingly".
