Dan says he will not be seeking re-election ....... in which case he's a very temporary dictator at best.
Dan's failure is not the current actions or lock downs or curfews. These were essential because of Dan's earler failure to properly resourse his contact tracing team. Prior to that Dan failed to overlay an effective compliance framework on the quarantine contracts.
Dan's current course of action is the correct one. I understand that the contact tracing team now has the capacity required to allow the Government to slowly loosen the draconian measures.
