I may be wrong but from past history and the fact that the banks appear to have all put up their hands already confessing to have been naughty boys and girls they will be given a quick spanking and told not to do it again. How quickly the memory will fade then business as usual. It appears they have already made provision on their books allowing for the potential cost (fine). As for messing with the franking credits. Surely this narrow minded little pip squeak can see that by doing this he will immediately force a huge number of self funded retirees who have equity based investments onto the pension possibly negating his planned revenue gain.
