The offer is not $10.01 cash. So final return will vary with the share price of the acquirer and the A$ exchange rate. There is also deal completion risk - ie regulatory hurdles that need to be overcome. There are also time value of money considerations.
I sold out at $9.73 after holding the stock for just one day prior to the takeover. Struck it lucky but tech analysis did suggest something was afoot with this stock.
All that said; the discount to take over price has become pretty deep so will be interested in other more informed replies to this question
